Contestent Guidelines
Age Requirements
- Prince 3-6
- Prince 7-12
- Petite Miss 3-6
- Little Miss 7-12
- Teen 13-18
- Miss 19-25
- Ms. 26 – 49 single or divorced
- Mrs. 18 + and must be married
- Classic 50 +
For all divisions, they must be the correct age by July 1 to compete at the national competition. All pageants…local and state will use the same dates to determine eligibility.
Teen, Miss, Ms., Mrs., Classic
- Must be a citizen of the United States.
- A woman may compete at the local, state, and national level more than once
- May compete at the state level with an At-Large title. Contact state director for details.
- Must be born female.
- Must be single, never married, and have never conceived a child or have adoptive children for Teen, Miss and Ms. Divisions

- Contestant must be of good character.
- A resident of the state in which you will compete for the past 6 months or a student of an accredited college or university for at least one semester in the state in which you want to compete
- Must meet age requirements for category by July 1.
- Contestants are required to complete an application and sign the local/state contract before competing.
- Must be available for a minimum of monthly appearances as designated by director
- Competition wardrobe should include:
- Evening Gown – gown of your choice
- Interview – Interview suit appropriate for professional interviews
- Casual Wear – Trendy fashion that you are comfortable modeling in
- On-Stage question – will take place in your casual wear
- Talent (Optional Category) – appropriate talent wardrobe for presentation
- Fitness – see pageant guidelines for wardrobe details.
- Turn in a 5x7 non-returnable photograph and same photograph on disk. Images may be emailed as well per director of local or state pageant
- If participating in photogenic, must provide 5x7 non-returnable photograph that is of a head shot type
- Must participate in rehearsals in preparation for competition
- Meet all paperwork, fee payment and photograph deadlines as set forth in information letter emailed to contestants
Prince, Petite, Little Miss
